Job Description

The role

You possess the capability to determine the test vision and strategy within the accounting team and translate it to actionable steps. You feel comfortable being the go-to person whom other testers can rely on for advice and guidance. Hands-on involvement with applications, drafting and executing test cases, collaboration with the development and business teams, and transforming (regression) tests into automated spec flow tests are aspects you definitely recognize as valuable contribution to a desired level of Quality Assurance.

What you would do

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a senior Test Specialist. In this role you have outstanding analytical skills and an eye for detail. Both on strategy/vision and hands on. You have a proactive attitude and you are able to adequately manage expectations. You have a willingness to develop or enhance your t-shaped skills.

Qualifications

This is whaty you bring

• At least a higher professional degree in IT or software engineering / quality assurance;
• Proven experience as test lead or similar role, with a handson mindset;
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (ISTQB/ T-Map), tools (HP ALM) and best practices;
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (Spec flow or MF-ALM and UFT)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability of effective collaboration;
• Knowledge of Asset Management in particular Accounting (products and processes) is a plus;
• Proven ability to work closely with the business and translate test needs into specifications, test scripts and implement them;
• Highly developed communication skills in English (at least C1 level);
• Experience with Agile working is a plus.
