Job Summary
The Senior Associate Director is responsible for Chicago Booth’s mass stewardship reporting, including managing all facets of reporting for student scholarships and fellowships, and professorships, fellowships, and research prizes. They serve as a point person for the student and faculty fund databases; manage the mass stewardship calendar; collaborate with colleagues in admissions, accounting/budget, and the deans’ suite; communicate with fund recipients to collect information; and compile each report.
The Senior Associate Director is responsible for managing Annual Fund stewardship in collaboration with the Annual Fund team, and Diversity and Inclusion funds stewardship. They are the Donor Relations team lead for stewardship events, for retrospective stewardship reporting, and for managing the Wallman Scholars alumni and related stewardship activities. The Senior Associate Director assists with other donor relations tasks, activities, and projects, including individualized stewardship plans and reporting, and Centers-based stewardship reporting.
The Senior Associate Director is responsible for managing the Assistant Director, Donor Relations, who oversees stewardship for mid-level donors at Chicago Booth.
Responsibilities
- Manages all facets of stewardship reporting for student scholarships and fellowships, and faculty professorships, fellowships, and research prizes.
- Manages retrospective stewardship reporting for Booth’s most valued donors.
- Manages the Wallman Scholars alumni and related stewardship activities.
- Manages stewardship activities for the Annual Fund, including stewardship projects and tasks such as the Annual Fund quarterly newsletter, first time donor communication, Deans Society stewardship, and other Annual Fund-focused donor activity.
- Manages Diversity and Inclusion funds stewardship reporting.
- Serves as the Donor Relations team lead on all stewardship events in collaboration with the Events team.
- Assists with other donor relations tasks, activities, and projects, including individualized stewardship plans and reporting and Centers-based stewardship reporting.
- Manages the Assistant Director, Donor Relations.
- Leads the creation of University-wide standards on appropriate ways to recognize and steward donors. Uses specialized expertise in donor programs to develop policies and quality control guidelines for donor relations programs.
- Uses in-depth knowledge to develop communication strategies for publications related to donors and volunteers.
- Performs other related work as needed.
