About the role
The Senior Manager, Program Management will lead high-impact, cross-functional programs that advance the CIO strategy. You will rotate across priority initiatives, partnering with leaders in infrastructure, platforms, security, data/analytics, and business applications. You will deliver outcomes across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business value while aligning stakeholders, managing risk, driving change adoption, and ensuring operational excellence in a global, fast-paced environment. Depending on location and candidate fit, this role may include direct people leadership for a regional team.
What you’ll do
- Lead multiple large-scale programs from charter through stabilization; define scope, outcomes, milestones, and success metrics aligned to CIO OKRs.
- Establish pragmatic governance to enable decisions, escalations, and accountability across sponsors and workstreams.
- Build integrated roadmaps and delivery plans; manage schedules, budgets, resources, and benefits across cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Anticipate and manage risks, issues, and dependencies; maintain clear RAID visibility and drive data-informed course corrections.
- Apply fit-for-purpose delivery approaches (Agile/SAFe and waterfall) and standardize ways of working across teams.
- Drive change enablement so new capabilities are adopted and sustained, using training, communications, and adoption/usage metrics.
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture and domain leaders on standards, integration patterns, and technical debt priorities to ensure coherent roadmaps.
- Coordinate vendor and partner contributions with clear outcomes, SLAs/scorecards, and regular business reviews; ensure smooth transitions to operations.
- Provide concise, executive-ready reporting with status, benefits, risks/decisions, and key asks.
- Foster a high-performing, inclusive culture; when applicable, provide direct people leadership including coaching, feedback, and career development.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 8+ years driving complex, cross-functional technology programs in global, matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated delivery across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business value.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication; able to influence trade-offs and align senior leaders.
- Proficiency with portfolio and delivery tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps, ServiceNow or equivalent, PPM suites, CMDB/asset, and BI dashboards.
- Fluency in Agile/SAFe and waterfall; strong risk, dependency, and benefits realization capabilities.
- Experience leading or collaborating with distributed teams; ability to provide direct people leadership for a regional team when required.
- Preferred certifications: PMP or Prince2, SAFe/Agile; ITIL and ISO/COBIT familiarity a plus.
