The Talent Acquisition Generalist fills a role intended to ensure accurate, timely, streamlined, and consistent outcomes in the support of sourcing, hiring and on boarding activity across the organization. It is the responsibility of this role to ensure job requisitions are accurately posted, advertised, and managed throughout the job offer process. The Talent Acquisition Generalist might be asked to draft either short- or long-term recruiting plans in collaboration and coordination with HR management and the business units. This role develops recruiting outreach to generate interest in S&K positions using all approved venues and posting sites. While this is not a direct recruiting role, this position does ensure strong outreach and timely hiring by working with managers to ensure the right strategy is applied. Depending on the workload, this role will conduct phone screens to ensure fully qualified applicants are available for selection and other outreach activities as needed. This position is responsible for compiling data and ensuring the organization is prepared for the annual Affirmative Action Plans and OFCCP submittals. Additionally, this role is responsible for the smooth on boarding of each newly hired employee and ensure completion of all new hire documents are complete prior to hire.
Sample of Job Duties:
- Daily review of each job posting and the related candidate activity to gauge necessary steps to either bring the REQ to closure or be able to generate additional talent to fill the job.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activity including sourcing, screening questions, interviewing, hire offer, and ensuring acceptance as requested.
- Cultivate pipelines of qualified candidates and increase S&K’s talent pipeline, which includes outreach efforts as requested. Measure the growth of the talent pool and strive to increase and expand access to needed talent.
- Work with the hiring manager to develop recruiting strategies and outreach to deliver effective quality outcomes when the company wins new contracts. This can include contingent postings as well as high demand for key personnel.
- Support diverse talent management initiatives to meet affirmative action goals.
- Develop and build on an established network of agency vendors who can be quickly activated to support a variety of recruitment needs at an approved cost to the organization. Must maintain and report on OFCCP standards of tracking and documenting outreach.
- Create and implement approved processes allowing candidates to experience a seamless and friendly experience at each stage of recruitment.
- Ensure proper use of the Recruitment Referral Program and ensure timely payment to employees who refer talent hired by S&K. Submits a monthly report on referral progress.
- Responsible to kick off the hiring process, ensure accurate and correct new hire offers are extended and returned in time.
- Keep track of multiple new hires and ensures all requisitions are properly dispositioned at each stage of the hiring process for AAP.
- Oversees and manages the onboarding handoff.
- Ensures the completion and accuracy of hiring activity.

Education: Associate degree in HR or related field required or exchange HR recruitment experience for each year of school (1 year of education = to 2 years of direct experience)
Experience: Requires an additional one (1) year of direct experience in multi-state full cycle recruitment responsible for using job boards, social media, resume databases, and search engines to generate active or passive candidates is required. Past use of ADP Talent Acquisition Module experience preferred.
Certification: PHR or SHRM/TA certification strongly preferred
