CDL Yard Prep Driver

Home Daily | Day shift: 5:00 am - 5:00 pm

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Class "A" CDL License with no restrictions (Required)
• Current DOT Medical Card (Required)
• Doubles & Triples endorsement (Required)
• Incident-Free Driving Record (Preferred)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Operate company vehicles safely, following all company and DOT safety policies.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working order.
• Ensure all loads are properly secured, including tarping when necessary, and comply with hauling requirements.
• Take proper care of company vehicles and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate and legible documentation in compliance with DOT requirements.
• Secure loads appropriately to meet safety standards during transport.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a commercial vehicle.
• Ability to lift, secure, and maneuver tarping and strapping materials as needed.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work overtime as operational needs require.
