CDL Local Driver

 Local Drivers will be team players that understand a timely delivery of goods and other articles of trade to our customers is the best thing for our customers. The Local Driver’s responsibilities include
arranging goods inside the company truck based on the order of delivery, answering customers’
questions, and notifying management of customer complaints. You should be able to adjust to local
travel routes in instances of traffic congestions, road maintenance, and accidents. You will be
responsible for safely operating a truck and maintaining trucks that will be assigned to you, as well as
working closely with our team of dispatchers in order to plan routes and track deliveries.
 
Working Days: Monday - Friday (one day every other weekend)
Working Hours: 4:00PM - 2:30AM - Mon - Fri
Pay: Up to $23 an hour with OT 50
Pay Frequency: Weekly via Direct Deposit

Required:
A valid Class A CDL license with a minimum of 36 months consecutive driving experience within the last 3 years
A minimum of 24 months experience working in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the previous 3 years
No more than two (2) moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years
No serious traffic violations or convictions while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years
A clean background check result
Ability to satisfy FMSCA/DOT requirements including:
A clean drug & alcohol screening
A passing DOT physical
Ability to execute physical aspect of position
