CDL-A Spotter Flex Driver

Job Overview:We are looking for a reliable CDL-A Spotter Flex to join our team. This role is responsible for efficiently moving trailers, organizing the yard, and supporting logistics operations while also serving as a backup CDL-A driver when needed. Additionally, during downtime, this position may assist with warehouse tasks such as loading/unloading and inventory organization to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:Trailer & Yard Management

• Spot and switch trailers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Organize the yard to maximize space utilization.
• Stage parts in units for easy access.
• Ensure trailers are positioned correctly for service, leasing, and customer pickups.

CDL-A Driving Support

• Serve as a backup CDL-A driver for deliveries and transportation needs.
• Transport large parts or equipment to customers as needed.
• Ensure all DOT and safety regulations are followed when operating commercial vehicles.

Warehouse & General Support

• Assist with loading and unloading parts or materials.
• Help with inventory management and organization.
• Perform general yard and warehouse upkeep to maintain an efficient workspace.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a spotter, switcher, or CDL-A driver preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate a switcher truck, forklifts, and other yard equipment.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Frequent walking, bending, and climbing in and out of vehicles.
