CDL A Laborer ( Shop)

Description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated CDL A Laborer to join our team. This position combines the responsibilities of operating commercial vehicles (CDL A truck) with performing labor-intensive tasks on job sites. The ideal candidate will have a CDL A license, strong work ethic, and the ability to handle physical labor in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CDL A truck) to transport goods and materials to job sites.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials at various job locations.
• Maintain and ensure cleanliness of the truck and equipment.
• Ensure that all materials are delivered on time and in proper condition.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
• Operate heavy machinery and equipment as needed, depending on the specific project requirements.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure smooth operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with specific types of vehicles/equipment (e.g., flatbed trucks, dump trucks, forklifts).
• Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or a related field.

Requirements

 Requirements:

• Valid CDL A license and clean driving record.
• Minimum [3] years of driving and labor experience preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to [75] lbs) and perform physical labor.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments.
