Data Engineer

We're currently looking for a Data Engineer, to be part of our Metyis / PVH's Digital Campus in Barcelona.

What you will do

• Work in a multi-disciplined team where you will turn data discoveries and ideas into models and insights.

• You’ll find how to leverage the data and the models to create and improve products for our customers, in lean development cycles.
• Be able to implement/build methodologies as well as (understand how to) scale them together with the businesses;
• Maintain a good, current and demonstrable knowledge of adjacent application and market developments both for inspiration and for benchmarking the concepts.
• Ingest data-sources into our data management platforms
• Structure data into a scalable and easily understood architecture

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of work experience in data engineering & modelling 
• 3+ years of work experience with AWS cloud solutions for analytics & infra  
• 2+ years of experience with data pipeline management using Apache Airflow 
• Extensive knowledge of SQL, Spark & Python 
• Certified as an AWS Solutions Architect and/or in AWS Data Analytics is a plus 
• Experience with CI/CD, Terraform, Containerization & Gitlab 
• Experience with Hadoop Ecosystem components 
• Experience with Linux/Unix & Networking Technologies 
• Experience with AWS security/access management 
• Good understanding of AI & Machine Learning Aspects & ML Ops 
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with a passion for problem solving and investigation 
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional team members and to work in an agile way 
• Strong English communication skills; the ability to convey complex analysis results clearly and with conviction to all levels of stakeholders
