Floater Security Officer (Mercer County)

Securitas is looking for a Floater Security Officer in the Princeton, East windsor ( Mercer County) area.

The ideal candidate should have 2 years experience in various security positions. 

 Will need open availability.

$18.50 -$19.00 an hour.

Typical Floater Security Officer Activities:

• Support staffing requirements at accounts during shortages due to vacations, call-offs, no shows, suspensions, holidays, etc.
• Assist in start-ups at new accounts to include working the site, 
• Work special security assignments as required.
• Expect to work on weekends and holidays with limited notice, and work during “high need” periods.

 

Position Requirements: 

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic phone & computer skills
• Calm, polite, and professional behavior
• Reliable and self-motivated
• High level customer service
• Able to patrol for extended periods of time
• Able to work any shift / Open Availability
• Able to do mobile patrols – Valid and clean driving record is needed.

The Floater Security Officer will be monitoring and patrolling different client sites on a variety of schedules. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Strong and reliable performance will earn the Officer consideration for assignment to supervisory or other leadership posts. Ideally, Officers will develop career paths to further growth within the Company. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
