Hybrid/Common Days+ : Work 2-3 days a week in a Lincoln office with a designated workspace.

The Role at a Glance

This position will prepare, analyze and report on financial information and provide management with a financial perspective for the Corporate Treasury department. This includes Rating Agency surveys and presentations, financial models related to Lincoln’s capital management, assisting in automation of financial reports for the Corporate Treasury department, and various ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis assignments.
 

What you'll be doing

•    Prepares, analyzes and reports on financial information for the Corporate Treasury department.
•    Provides management with a financial perspective for the Capital Management Team.
•    Collects, compiles and evaluates financial information to develop and deliver standard and ad-hoc financial analysis.
•    Provides support to financial analysis team members in the preparation and delivery of financial information for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
•    Communicates to management on recognized trends of issues/concerns.
 

What we’re looking for

•    4 Year Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of equivalent work experience in Financial Analysis 
•    1 - 3+ Years experience in financial analysis that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position (Required)
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
•    Works with mathematical concepts such as arithmetic and geometric averages and/or variances.
•    Ability to evaluate information and the implications of a course of action or solution.
•    Ability to interpret and apply common sense understanding to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
•    Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
•    Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
•    Evaluate trends in data or information.
•    Demonstrated solid relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues). 
•    Demonstrates solid project management skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) (Required). Experience with Tableau, Python, Power BI (Plus)
•    Progress toward Chartered Financial Analyst and/or actuarial designations (Plus)

Pay Range: $63,500 - $87,500 

 

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
