Job Description

Information Technology Governance Program is a pivotal role within our customer’s organization, responsible for driving the establishment and sustainment of an Information Technology Governance Program.  The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of IT governance initiatives that align with the organization's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, initiation, execution, and closure of projects related to the establishment and sustainment of the IT governance program.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and requirements, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals.
• Allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and timelines, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate and manage them effectively.
• Ensure that project deliverables meet high-quality standards and adhere to best practices in IT governance.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, provide regular status reports, and communicate project progress to management and stakeholders.
• Work closely with change management teams to ensure that the organization's staff is adequately prepared for the changes associated with IT governance initiatives.
• Ensure that all project activities and outcomes are in compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Oversee the development and delivery of training programs to ensure staff members have a solid understanding of IT governance principles.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the IT governance program.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably with experience in IT governance projects.
• Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL).
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required

Clearance Requirement:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have a public trust clearance or have the ability to obtain one.
