Job Description

McDonald’s, one of the most recognized brands in the world, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented individual to join our Cyber Security Compliance team as a supervisor. This role emphasizes coding expertise and analytical problem-solving, providing critical support for the design, development, and maintenance of systems and tools that enhance our risk management processes. Experience in the "Big 4" consulting firms is highly valued as it demonstrates a solid understanding of operational excellence and collaborative teamwork. Prior compliance or audit experience is not required. The role will automate manual compliance processes.

This position will work with the Global Technology teams to improve the regulatory and controls environment though education, identification and implementation of control improvements. This includes recommending control design and operating effectiveness improvements. The position will include working with internal and external auditors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply coding skills (e.g., Python, SQL, or other programming languages) to build automated solutions for improving risk reporting, governance processes, and compliance-related tasks. This includes designing, testing, and deploying scripts or applications to streamline repetitive tasks.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improving risk management practices. Apply advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques to uncover actionable insights.
  • Design, build, and optimize interactive dashboards, visualizations, reporting tools, and analytics platforms to enhance transparency and support data-driven decision-making across departments.
  • Work closely with multi-functional teams, such as IT, Finance, and Operations, to collect project requirements, overcome technical obstacles, and offer scalable solutions in line with governance, risk, and compliance requirements.
  • Identify and implement innovative process improvements to improve operational efficiency by bringing to bear automation and coding to reduce manual workflows, decrease processing time, and minimize errors.
