- Strong understanding of network fundamentals (Layer 1β3)
- Experience with:
- Cabling / infrastructure (fiber)
- Routers, switches, and data center environments
- Network troubleshooting
- Fiber Testing experience is important
- Ability to:
- Read engineering diagrams, schematics, and layouts
- Interpret technical design documentation
- Perform circuit mapping & topology visualization
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills

π§ What Youβll Be Doing
- Perform network audits & infrastructure validation
- Build and maintain circuit maps and topology diagrams
- Troubleshoot connectivity + configuration issues
- Validate fiber and device connectivity
- Compare real-world installs vs engineering designs
- Document findings and work with engineers to resolve gaps
π Long-Term Growth
- Convert after ~640 hours
- Move into a full-time Engineering role
π This is a pipeline into network engineering, not just another contract
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
