Summary

The DevOps Engineer, Tech Lead will play a critical role in the Software Engineering team to design, develop, enhance, and maintain robust and scalable software applications. This role focuses on leveraging DevOps practices to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery. The Tech Lead will architect, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and lead the adoption and management of containerization and orchestration technologies. Additionally, this position requires monitoring system performance, reliability, and security, as well as defining and designing solutions for projects with varying levels of requirement clarity. The Tech Lead will also prioritize tasks to meet project milestones and delivery deadlines while providing leadership and mentorship to the engineering team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining full stack applications using the Agile/Scrum development process.
• Architect, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline the software delivery process.
• Lead the adoption and management of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and security using advanced monitoring tools.
• Define and design the solution for proposed projects with a given set of clear or ambiguous requirements.
• Prioritize the work of self and others to meet milestones and delivery due dates
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience (7+ years, on average) with DevOps or Full Stack technology development and maintenance (Python, C#, Java, Vue.js, Angular, React, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud).
• Experience in delivering multiple large-sized projects from inception to deployment (the full software development lifecycle).
• Expertise with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Mastery of automated monitoring at all layers of the application stack.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
