The Opportunity

Our client, a rapidly growing, venture-backed Health-Tech company, is building a next-generation platform that is transforming how companies administer and manage pharmacy benefits. Their unified technology platform delivers real-time, actionable insights that drive cost savings, power clinical services, and provide an exceptional customer experience.

As the organization continues to scale, they are seeking a hands-on Project Manager for a contract engagement to streamline and mature their internal project management ecosystem. This role will focus on improving operational rigor and visibility across multiple teams by designing and standardizing how work is managed, tracked, and reported.

The Project Manager will act as the architect of the JIRA environment, ensuring that workflows, boards, and dashboards accurately reflect real operational needs and enable better decision-making across Engineering, Product, and leadership teams.

What you'll be doing

  • Audit and standardize JIRA boards across multiple teams to establish a consistent language, structure, and process

  • Simplify and optimize existing JIRA workflows, removing bottlenecks and unnecessary complexity

  • Automate status transitions and workflow steps where appropriate

  • Design and build customized dashboards that provide clear, at-a-glance visibility into operational health

  • Surface gaps in documentation, process adherence, or execution through data visualization

  • Create unified views of features, bugs, and tasks per team to clarify workload, priorities, and capacity

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand team needs while enforcing global

Your qualifications and experience

Must haves

  • Deep, hands-on experience administering JIRA Software (Cloud or Data Center)

  • Strong command of JQL (Jira Query Language), workflow schemes, permissions, and board configurations

  • Experience working with Advanced Roadmaps and complex, multi-team project structures

  • Proven ability to translate business and operational requirements into scalable project management systems

  • Strong reporting skills, including executive-level dashboards and detailed team-level reports

  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional stakeholders

  • Strong operational mindset with attention to detail and process improvement
