Responsibilities:

• Update patient records and add into our Document Management System.

• Review Medical records, prescription, and insurance documentations to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Maintain patient privacy adhere to HIPAA regulations.

• Communicate with doctor offices, hospitals, etc.  to follow up on pending orders and resolve any prescription discrepancies.

• Answer basic Insurance questions.

• Answer incoming phone calls in a timely and courteous manner.

• Accurate data entry of sales orders and customer information in applicable Freudenberg Medical ERP and software programs.

• Respond to incoming fax, e-mail, and US mail orders inquiries.

• Process and confirm orders.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months plus experience servicing customers in the medical industry or 1 year in customer service.
• Attention to detail and ability to accurately review medical records, prescriptions, and insurance documents.
• Strong communication skills for effective communication with doctor offices, insurance companies and patients.
• Previous experience is medical office setting.
