We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. In the East Zone Sales Manager role, you will be accountable to lead a team of Regional Business Managers, Strategic Account Managers, Account Representatives, Business Development Managers and Technical Specialists to deliver profitable growth in the Automotive Refinish sector across the Eastern US.  This Zone Manager position will be responsible for managing sales of $220M+, 8 Direct Reports and 60 indirect reports. This role will drive profitable sales growth of competitive and existing accounts, develop our customer base in key strategic markets, align strategic account growth plans with distribution strategy, develop a bench of future leaders and lead all activities associated with the new market and customer growth. 

As an East Zone Sales Manager, you create chemistry by…

 

• Working with distributors and customers to develop strategic plans and execution. 
• Directly and indirectly influencing across the entire ECN organization including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Technical, Controlling and Finance units to ensure buy-in is gained.
• Driving consistency and accountability across the US Eastern zone in order to build and develop a professional and promotable team that drives growth through digitalization and innovation. 
• Identifying trends and diagnosing root cause factors. As well as alternatives, solutions, and drive change management execution.
• Managing financials including P&L statements, expense control, forecasting, sales budgeting, etc.
• Setting ethics and values, integrity and trust to continue to drive the BASF brand as the Manufacturer of choice for our Distributors and Customers. 

The formula for the Success of our East Zone Sales Manager includes the following ingredients…

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• 15 years of commercial or business experience
• Prior Sales and Management experience
• Working knowledge with management of large strategic accounts
• Ideally located near a major airport in the Eastern Part of the US

Pay Transparency

 

BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $152,600.00 - $229,000.00. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
