Schedule: Flexible within client business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Costa Mesa, CA) | 12:00 AM – 9:00 AM (Manila Time)

Total Paid Working Hours per Week: 20 hours

Our client, a leading optometry practice, offers advanced eye care services, including myopia management, vision therapy, and dry eye treatments. With a strong focus on patient education and engagement, they are seeking a Social Media Specialist to enhance their digital presence.

Responsibilities:

Create and manage engaging content for social media platforms to educate and connect with patients.
Develop and execute a social media strategy using Hootsuite, maintaining a consistent brand voice and maximizing engagement.
Design eye-catching digital graphics and print materials that highlight innovative eye care services.
Manage email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation and targeted messaging for different patient groups.
Work closely with the eye care team to simplify complex optometry concepts into visually appealing and easy-to-understand content.
Monitor social media metrics, analyze performance, and adjust strategies to enhance digital engagement.
Organize marketing assets and patient data while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience in social media management and graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing visually engaging, on-brand content.
Proficiency in Hootsuite, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite to create high-quality marketing materials.
Strong understanding of design trends and social media best practices, particularly in the healthcare industry.
Excellent written and visual communication skills, with the ability to simplify medical concepts for a general audience.
Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Experience with email marketing and basic data management, including familiarity with spreadsheet software.
Passion for continuous learning, especially in eye health and optometry.
Availability to work 20 hours per week, with potential for growth as the practice expands its digital presence.
