As a Senior Tax Specialist within PNC's Corporate Tax organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
Job Description
- Strong contributor to organizational tax reporting, tax planning and compliance function.
- Oversees the completion of accurate tax returns to manage risk and minimize the tax obligations of the organization, utilizing general ledger and related financial documents as applicable. May also complete or assist with the completion of tax accounting entries and account reconciliations.
- Shows initiative and demonstrates autonomy in managing technical tax areas. Coordinates, facilitates and resolves all taxing authority inquiries and audits.
- Mentoring junior staff on appropriate regulations, filing procedures and internal communication needs. Keeps up-to-date with and advises others of company-related tax regulations at the federal, state and local levels.
