Senior Industrial Designer

We are looking for a talented Senior Industrial Designer who is passionate about the furniture industry and ready to jump right into working with Parametric Designers, Industrial Designers, Researchers, Developers, and Wood Designers. Our ideal candidate has a "product culture" mindset and is excited to be involved in product creation from the ground up.

About the Product Department

Product is our most diverse team in terms of expertise. It is home to 50 specialists, ranging from experienced designers, software developers to wood technologists and industrial designers.

This department is responsible for two strategic areas: roadmap and product portfolio development, as well as roadmap and company-wide support, with the aim of elevating the Experience.
This department delivers a complete product: the complete digital technology (online creation-configuration tool) and the physical product that is produced in the factories.


Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing new furniture products, including home (especially kitchens) and office furniture

• Preparing technical drawings, visualizations, and prototypes to show the appearance and functionality of projects.

• Conducting market research and trend analysis to ensure that designed products meet customer requirements and are in line with market trends.

• Collaborating with the engineering team to ensure that designed products are feasible and can be mass-produced easily.

• Determining product specifications, including selecting materials and finishes, as well as defining the production process.

• Collaborating with Parametric Designers, Industrial Designers, Researchers, Developers, and Wood Designers to create high-quality products.

• Collaborating with the Brand Marketing team to understand customer needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial design or related field.

• At least 5 years of experience as an Industrial Designer.

• Experience in the furniture industry (especially in kitchen furniture!)

• Knowledge of industrial design issues.

• Ability to work in a team.

• Being up-to-date with design and aesthetic trends.

• Experience working with technical teams (R&D, IT).

• Working with prototypes at various stages of development.

• Working from our office in Warsaw in hybrid mode
