Your team
Within Unified Global Markets, the Equity Advisory Group (EAG) partners with WMA Financial Advisors to deliver the firm by providing comprehensive advice on all aspects of equity investing: discussing the macro outlook, conducting in-depth portfolio reviews, deciphering portfolio positioning opportunities, identifying actionable ideas and helping Advisors utilize listed options.
Your expertise
• minimum of three years of experience as a sell-side analyst, investor, researcher or strategist
• passion with a demonstrated interest in the financial markets.
• motivated by intellectual curiosity, growing businesses, setting goals, and measuring your performance against them
• basic understanding of financial instruments, asset classes, macroeconomic & geopolitical drivers, intermarket relationships, and statistics.
• detail oriented with the ability to communicate findings/recommendations in simple business terms to clients and financial advisors verbally and in writing.
• comfortable in presenting ideas to small to medium groups in person, over the phone, and using video software.
• ability to analyze data presented in charts or datasets to “connect the dots” and draw logical conclusions based on the technical analyst’s toolkit..
• multi-task in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality.
• comfortable working with large numerical datasets.
• advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to manage large files.
• willingness to pursue the CMT designation and satisfy the requirements to obtain certification in a timely manner.
• previous experience and comfort with charting platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Optuma, Updata, TradeStation, etc.).
• completed the required FINRA exams (SIE, Series 7, Series 66).
• cleared level 1 or higher of the CMT or CFA exam.
• proficiency in programming/coding.

Salary information
US Only: The expected salary range for this role is $135000 to $175000 based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Please see «Your role» section for detailed salary information.
