Information Operations Policy Strategic Advisor

Key Role:

Assist the government in integrating different IO capabilities and activities through existing and emerging executive level forums including with Strategic Information Oversight Board, IO Executive Steering Group, IO Senior Steering Group, Publicly Available Information Oversight Council, IO briefings to congressional Professional Staff Members, Principal Information Operations Advisor (PIOA) Out-briefs on Posture review and Strategy development. Recommend topics and the purpose of meetings to leadership based on input of members. Construct meeting concepts, brief concepts to leaders, conduct in process reviews, organize, and manage events, and document the results. Coordinate agendas, de-conflict priorities, and provide other essential support services as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Policy Analyst supporting the DoD, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, or Military Services

• Experience with analyzing laws, executive orders, regulations, and DoD directives, instructions, or manuals 

• Experience with analyzing DoD policies, including directives, instructions, or manuals 

• TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications: 

• Knowledge of DoD organizations, culture, and processes

• Ability to develop reports and briefings on strategy activities

• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and independently with minimal guidance

• Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills

• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills 

• Master's degree
