Mobile Application Developer

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Mobile Application Developer to join our team in Ashburn, VA. This is currently a hybrid position with 2-3 days onsite/week.

The Mobile Application Developer will design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance mobile applications. These applications are critical to supporting U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) personnel in the field, facilitating the secure processing of aliens, and enhancing the agency’s ability to detect and deter illegal immigration. The successful candidate will work within a cross-functional team to deliver mission-critical software that operates in challenging environments.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Application Development: Design, code, test, and deploy native or cross-platform mobile applications (iOS/Android) that support CBP field operations.
• Mission Support: Develop mobile tools that assist agents and officers in the processing of aliens, the management of border security data, and the interdiction of illegal immigration.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure all mobile applications adhere to strict DHS and federal cybersecurity standards, including data encryption, secure authentication, and FISMA compliance.
• System Integration: Integrate mobile applications with backend enterprise systems, databases, and real-time data feeds to provide actionable intelligence to personnel in the field.
• UI/UX Design: Create intuitive user interfaces optimized for field use, ensuring high usability under varying operational conditions.
• Maintenance & Optimization: Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates to ensure continuous availability and reliability.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. BS/BA and 7+ years or MS/MA/MBA and 5+ years or PhD/Doctorate and 3+ years.
• Hands on experience in mobile application development (Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter).
• Proficie
