The consumer audio industry is fast paced, fun and dynamic and we’re looking for someone who is proactive, loves to work with a lot of different stakeholders from all over Europe and has creative ideas.</p><p></p><p>You will join our Sales Operations department based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands in the position of:  </p><p></p><p></p><p>Sales Operations Lead</p><p></p><p><u>About the Role:</u></p><p></p><p>We are searching for a Sales Operations Lead with the ambition to grow into a competent Business Controller who will join the EMEA Sales Operations Team supporting various countries and departments.</p><p></p><p>You will be in charge of demand planning, budgets, forecasts and target setting, ensure the integrity of reported results, and guide decision-making through meaningful analyses. In this role you will work closely with Commercial Leaders and liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders across different departments.</p><p></p><p>In short, the following topics may cross your desk:</p><p></p><p><u>What You Will Do:</u></p><ul><li>Controlling management P&amp;L’s, focused on sales, margin, and marketing cost versus targets, including;<ul><li>Annual budgets + target setting.</li><li>Monthly + weekly forecasting cycles as well as alignment with stakeholders.</li><li>Material and account level demand planning.</li><li>Marketing cost accounting and settlement.</li><li>Variance analyses + management reporting including sell-out and sell-through analyses.</li></ul></li></ul><p></p><ul><li>Pricing:<ul><li>Maintain customer price group structures in SAP.</li><li>Analyze pricing tactics, recommend improvements.</li><li>Administer Wholesaler compensation.</li></ul></li></ul><p></p><ul><li>Business advisory role: understand Harman performance, develop plans to improve the financial performance of the business including ROI analysis on business proposals.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.</li><li>Support Audit processes.</li><li>Initiate and support process improvement projects.</li><li>Support business development initiatives.</li></ul><p></p><p><u>What You Need:</u></p><p></p><ul><li>Bachelor or master’s degree in business administration, Economics, or equivalent work experience.</li><li>At least 5 years’ experience in an operational or administrative role in an international environment.</li><li>Proficiency using MS Excel.</li><li>Experience using ERP and associated reporting systems (e.g., SAP, BI, Qlik).</li><li>Fluency in English, additional European languages are a pré.</li><li>Ability to meet tight deadlines, good organizational skills, pragmatic mindset.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills.</li></ul><p></p><p><u>What We Offer:</u></p><p></p><ul><li>HARMAN is offering a unique opportunity for growth and development in the dynamic and exciting world of consumer electronics.</li><li>We provide a flexible work schedule that allows you to work from home, while also enjoying a fantastic new office at Houthavens, Amsterdam.</li><li>At HARMAN, we value diversity and inclusivity, and foster a friendly and supportive global working atmosphere.
