About the role
Auria is a leading global supplier of highly-engineered systems for automotive flooring, acoustical, thermal, aerodynamic and other fiber-based solutions for gas and electric vehicles. With U.S.-based operational headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, Auria operates 16 manufacturing, 9 technical and 5 JV locations across 10 countries and employs approximately 3,900 people worldwide.
We are currently searching for Inventory Analyst to join our team at our Spartanburg Plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Responsibilities Overview:
- Oversee the plans cycle count program to ensure the plants inventory accuracy is 98% or better
- Develop a detailed cycle count schedule, understanding the total number of parts in each category multiplied by the required count frequency divided by the number of planned working days to determine the number of counts required per day
- Monitoring the negative inventory report, counting and adjusting as necessary
- Publish cycle count accuracy metrics daily
- Ensure, that for any count with a variance outside of tolerance, a proper root cause analysis is conducted and permanent corrective actions are added to the SCM CI Matrix and tracked to closure
- Work with SCM, PM, and Controller to communicate and obtain approval prior to making any adjustments while ensuring any variance is adjusted with a 48-hour period from the initial count
- Support the engineering change process as required by the SCM
- Work with Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure BOM’s and Routings are audited at a minimum, annually
- Participate with the SCM team to achieve targets, goals, and objectives
- Proactively work with the ECN process and the Supplier Scheduler to ensure that new parts are set up properly in QAD and the PO Integration process.
- Work with SCM to ensure that an accurate physical inventory is taken in accordance with the corporate policy
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years automotive Supply Chain experience
- Experience with Continuous Improvement/ Kaizen Events
- Experience working in ERP/MRP Systems, preferably Plex
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
- Familiarity with OEM customer base and working knowledge of EDI and other customer inventory systems
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communicator, at all levels of the organization, verbal and written
- Knowledge of ERP systems, QAD and PLEX a plus
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills to facilitate sound working relationships with employees, carriers and customers
