As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will share responsibilities for coordinating and completing facilities and operations work, including but not limited to: completing small projects, scheduling and coordinating with support vendors, supporting events, maintaining building systems, selecting, ordering and installing fixtures, furnishings, and equipment. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Responsibilities:
- Develop a plan and perform or coordinate routine maintenance and/or repairs of facilities, furnishings, and equipment in-house or serve as the focal point for contracted efforts as necessary.
- Act on behalf of the Company coordinating or assisting with small facilities projects, performing functions such as soliciting and evaluating bids, project planning, reviewing work efforts, and managing to schedule.
- Support the development and implementation of preventive maintenance program for our buildings and properties.
- Develop, implement, and maintain interior and exterior graphics and art programs.
- Create, draft, edit, and prepare reports, project meeting notes, presentations, spreadsheets, and documents.
- Serve as interface with outside service suppliers, including but not limited to security, janitorial, pest control, locksmith, movers, mats, rags, medicines, etc.
- Organize and maintain accessibility to records, physical area, and supplies in compliance with AS9100, 5S and Company standards. Coordinate efforts with shop personnel and other departments as needed.
- Assist with sourcing, vetting, and acquiring outside resources necessary for project support as needed.
- Source, order or purchase, and confirm receipt of materials as needed.
- Coordinate with outside suppliers for the rental or purchase of equipment as needed.
- Coordinate warranty and punch list work completion.
- Assist with space planning and the expansion of Blue Origin buildings and area development, coordinating, setting up, and outfitting the spaces and moving personnel as necessary.
- Contribute to New Glenn program success by providing general facility operations support and accomplishing related duties on an as needed basis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in one of the following; engineering, project management, business, construction management, communication, or related field of study.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, move small furniture, conduct walk throughs, navigate stairs inside and outside, in addition to perform work outdoors as required.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Possess or have the ability to obtain a DBIDS.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Proven self-starter with problem solving skills.
- Ability to flourish in an environment with multiple and shifting priorities.
- Demonstrated strong time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail, resolution, and follow through skills.
- Applicants should have knowledge of industrial facility operations.
- Applicants should be familiar with industrial and business safety.
- Proven skills managing subcontractors and vendors successfully.
- Strong competency in all Microsoft office applications.
- Ability to flex schedule and occasionally work evenings or weekends depending on installation schedule and specific project coordination needed.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
