Overview
Trust and Securities Services is looking for an experienced Business Development Vice President to join our Sales Team with a focus on covering a wide range of trust, agency, escrow and related services provided to the capital markets. In this capacity, you will build strong working relationships at a senior management level. This will be across business divisions, focusing on three main areas: Leadership, Client and Relationship Management and Deal Execution.

What You’ll Do
Support the Sales lead with Developing and cultivate strong relationships with external non-Deutsche Bank clients, Law Firms, and Investment Bankers who can provide a continual flow of new clients for the Firm. Develop and cultivate own relationships and business referral channels
Focus on delivering innovative and client specific solutions that leverage the Bank’s expertise globally
Partner with Deutsche Banks’ Corporate Bank team and other internal relationship managers to provide seamless execution of Trust & Securities Services associated with new transactions
Identify and, when appropriate, implement opportunities for increased efficiency and improved service to internal and external clients
How You’ll Lead
Support and own the generation of significant revenue for the Bank over a sustained period of time
Work effectively with internal partners in product management, implementation, client service, legal and compliance teams to implement Corporate Trust Products in a timely manner for the clients
Support the development and the mentorship of junior talent and analyst team in their technical and execution knowledge of Corporate Trust solutions and deal execution activities. Managing the client’s risk through frequent touch points and escalation governance
Skills You’ll Need
Experience in a sales capacity with extensive, in-depth product and market knowledge. Experience in one or more of the following sectors would be beneficial: Project Finance, Insurance, Collateralized Loan Obligations, Structured or Unstructured Debt or Escrow sales
Proven track record of independently identifying and closing sales opportunities through an active calling effort which focuses on multiple clients and effectively managing multiple priorities, while generating significant revenue
Strong commercial acumen: understanding client/market problems, proactively tackling challenges and seizing opportunities as they arise.
Knowledge of the regulatory environment and the impact on banking services within the Corporate Trust space
Experience in reporting client/prospect activities and the associated financial metrics

Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York and California offices in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City and California is $140,000 to $217,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
