The Role
Supports Lumen Government Program Control Office by being the interface with some established contracts and new contracts. You will be working internally with PMO, Sales, Contracts and Offer Management, and externally with the customer. The candidate will be responsible for monthly billing, contract reporting deliverables, forecasting, budget management and qualifying financial and operational impacts during the contract period of performance. The candidate will analyze data to determine past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability. Performs statistical and financial analysis of data reported in the financial systems. Ensures compliance with internal procedures, applicable laws and government regulations.
The Main Responsibilities
Must have an extensive knowledge of financial analysis and possess the ability to complete difficult assignments with an emphasis on problem solving. Must be able to effectively manage assigned program control work on large complex projects. Experience in analyzing problems to determine root cause and implement corrective actions is required. Accurate written and verbal communication skills are needed in order to carry out and understand assignments and to convey or exchange routine information.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Education/Experience: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, and 2-5 years related experience. Professional Certification (CPA, PMP, CPCM, etc) is preferred.
The successful candidate must be able to work as a key member of a team with minimal supervision. Must possess a strong background working with multiple contract types: Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Incentive (FPI), Fixed Price Level of Effort (FPLOE), Time and Materials (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and hybrid contracts. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required. Advanced Federal SAP/Dassian skills are preferred. Federal Government contracting and FAR knowledge/experience are preferred. Must work effectively under pressure. Must operate with a sense of urgency; is self-motivated, detail orientated and highly organized; able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and clients in parallel in a time sensitive environment to meet critical deadlines.
Must be able to obtain a DHS suitability clearance.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges:
$73,013 - $97,350 in these states: WA
