Job Description

As the IT SOX Senior Manager, you will be responsible for  managing all aspects of IT Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to assess, implement, and maintain effective controls, processes, and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and safeguard company assets. Additionally, you will provide guidance on IT risks and controls to various stakeholders and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall control environment.

  • Drive the IT SOX compliance program, including scoping, planning, execution, and reporting phases.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes, controls, and related procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses to identify control deficiencies and recommend remediation actions.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits, reviews, and testing of IT controls.
  • Provide training and guidance to IT and business teams on SOX requirements, control objectives, and best practices.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging risks to ensure ongoing compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline compliance activities and enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor and track control deficiencies, findings, and remediation efforts to closure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional qualification such as CISA or equivalent is a must.
  • 7+ years experience in audit and assurance engagements with a focus on IT General Controls, automated and IT dependent controls.
  • Experience within semi-conductor industry or organizations dealing with technology manufacturing is a distinctive advantage.
  • A record of delivering IT controls and process improvement projects. You take a proactive approach to investigate complex problems, propose solutions and execute to completion.
  • An understanding of the value of taking a balanced approach to risk and controls to support the growth of the business.
  • You work well in a multinational team environment, and know how to have an impact through others.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
