Purpose of the Position:
The Manager of Corporate Alliance manages an assigned team within assigned corporate alliance areas of focus, which consist of corporate alliance recruitment, alliance account management, alliance onboarding, and alliance web applications. The role will achieve goals through services that offer career guidance, generate job leads and appropriately match qualified candidates with potential job opportunities, assist candidates through all steps of the hiring process, and develop and maintain relationships with employers and alumni. This position will support and guide daily efforts, productivity, and overall time management of a designated team.
What you’ll do:
- Drive team productivity and quality: Lead activities related to assigned area within corporate alliance, (e.g., submittals to account managers, scheduled web applications, converted interviews, hires, onboarding requirements, and placements). Manage contact, forecasting, and support of the team’s assigned population of UMA current, graduating students, and alumni.
- Maintain interdepartmental communication: Ensure communication within the CS department regarding corporate alliance opportunities.
- Support the corporate alliance sales: Work with leadership to support employer requests that need to be prioritized. Complete manager customer service, re-engagement, and de-escalation calls, as needed.
- Provide data and reports: Generate reports and information to provide insight into Corporate Alliance production and future forecasting of placements.
- Lead with Care: Lead, coach, and develop team members, fostering a culture of wellness, recognition, and engagement. Meet regularly with direct reports in one-on-one and group settings to provide feedback and cultivate/maintain a positive work culture.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Experience:
- Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years of experience in recruiting, career services and employment assistance, or in sales.
- Ability to professionally communicate fluently in verbal and written English.
- Ability to contribute to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Computer literacy/basic computer skills to effectively navigate and utilize the technology required for the role.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or another related major.
- Experience in people management.
- History of developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business tools such as Microsoft Teams.
