Job Description:

At Regions, the BlackArch Intern works on department assignments while learning more about the financial services industry.

BlackArch, a wholly owned subsidiary of Regions Bank, is a Southeast based, middle-market M&A advisory firm whose professionals have closed more than 400 transactions across a broad range of industries, with enterprise values ranging from $50 million to over $1 billion. BlackArch offers a full spectrum of advisory services to financial sponsors, private companies, and diversified corporations, addressing the needs of owner-operators, founders, and shareholders of private companies with specialized services that include M&A advisory, strategic advisory and private capital solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Receives exposure to all basic functions of assigned group within the financial industry

• Completes a wide range of tasks including research, administrative and correspondence work and attend meetings

• Provides assistance in projects

• Gains valuable insight within a variety of functions while strengthening core skills and knowledge needed to launch a successful career

• Responsibilities will vary by internship

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field

• Relevant prerequisites and an interest in developing technical skills and gaining work experience in the financial services industry

• Active in leadership posting on campus and/or involved in campus extracurricular activities

• Regions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position; applications for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
