Job Description:The University of Florida College of Nursing is seeking Ph.D.-prepared faculty members with research expertise for full-time, 12-month, tenure-track faculty positions as Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. We are particularly interested in individuals who can contribute to research and teaching in the following areas: palliative care; pain and symptom science; bioinformatics, big data & data science; maternal & infant health; and aging.
At UF, the resources of a comprehensive university are linked to exceptional clinical facilities with the goal of applying interdisciplinary research efforts to improve health.
This position is located in Gainesville, FL. This is not a remote or online faculty position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assistant Professor: Advance a defined program of research leading to extramural funding.
- Associate/Full Professor: Maintain a focused, extramurally funded program of research.
- Collaborate with and lead interdisciplinary research teams.
- Mentor early career faculty, commensurate with rank.
Teaching
- Mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research.
- Teach courses in areas of expertise.
Service
- Provide professional service to college, university and profession commensurate with rank.
