About Organization

The mission of the Quality Assurance Platform Division is to deliver products and services with the highest standards of quality and reliability to Rakuten Mobile's commercial network. Prioritizing customer satisfaction, the division contributes to the quality improvement and stable operation of Rakuten Mobile's commercial network through continuous improvement and innovation.

Quality assurance for core networks is conducted to ensure effective quality checks in the QA lab before production rollout. This process is designed to assure the best quality for our end users.

Job Duties

New hires are expected to operate these standard processes by applying their skills and experience in the quality assurance domain.

• Quality Assurance Role: In Rakuten Mobile, the Quality Assurance Business Unit is responsible for product and service validation before production rollout.

• Core Network Services: The Core Network department handles critical services such as Voice, Data, and RCS/Elink, which are part of QA validation.

• Standard Business Processes: Standard business processes, including release and test management, are followed to ensure smooth operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in the Telecom Core domain, working with technologies such as IMS Core, EPC, Policy and Charging, Billing, and Mediation.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.

• Candidates should have experience in at least one of the following areas:

  • IMS/VoLTE Core: Hands-on experience with nodes such as CFX, NTAS, MRF, etc.

  • Policy and Charging Core: Hands-on experience with nodes such as PCRF, OCS.

  • Billing and Revenue Assurance: Experience in billing, revenue assurance, and fraud management.
