They are searching for a <strong>driven accounting manager</strong> that will take the lead of the accounting team</p><p></p><br>Jobomschrijving<br><p></p><ul><li>Lead a team of 3 accountants and report to the CFO of Benelux</li><li>Perform monthly and yearly <strong>closings</strong></li><li>Prepare accurate <strong>VAT filings</strong></li><li>Submit required <strong>intrastat</strong> reports and <strong>income tax</strong> filings.</li><li>Provide timely and reliable <strong>quarterly group reporting</strong></li><li>Prepare the <strong>annual financial statements</strong></li><li>Process correct <strong>intercompany invoicing</strong></li><li><strong>Reconcile</strong> intercompany balances to avoid discrepancies.</li><li>Update the <strong>balance sheet</strong> with complete and accurate period data</li><li>Maintain the <strong>fixed asset register</strong></li><li>Record correct <strong>depreciation</strong> according to policy.</li><li>Execute the <strong>consolidation</strong> process</li></ul><p></p> <ul><li>You hold a <strong>degree in accounting or finance</strong></li><li>You have <strong>5 years of experience</strong> in accounting</li><li>You possess a thorough knowledge of <strong>Belgian accounting principles and</strong> <strong>tax regulations</strong></li><li>You are familiar with <strong>financial reporting standards</strong>.</li><li>You speak <strong>fluent Dutch</strong> and have a <strong>good knowledge of French and English.</strong></li><li>You are familiar with accounting software and ERP systems; knowledge of <strong>SAP </strong>is an asset.</li><li>You have strong <strong>Office</strong> skills (advanced <strong>Excel</strong>, <strong>Word</strong>, <strong>PowerPoint</strong>).</li><li>You are <strong>accurate</strong>, <strong>analytical</strong>, and <strong>service-oriented</strong>.</li></ul>
