Job Description

As a Security Officer- Dispatch Tech/Media Full Time in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic tech and media location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities to help create a secure environment. Your responsibilities will include managing communications, supporting access control, and providing exceptional customer service to all personnel and visitors. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor and manage dispatch communications for the location, coordinating with on-site personnel and responding units as needed.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, dispatch activities, and communications accurately and promptly.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points through surveillance systems and communication channels.
• Support Allied Universal and client personnel by relaying critical information and coordinating resources during routine operations and emergencies.
• Conduct regular checks of communication equipment and dispatch systems to help maintain operational readiness.
• Help to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining a visible and responsive presence through dispatch operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
