NORCAL Ambulance has an exciting opportunity as a Digital Media Production Assistant in our Culture department.

Reports to: Digital Media Lead
Hours/Shifts: Full time/Part time**
Basic Functions:
The Digital Media Production Assistant (DPA) assists the Digital Media Lead in delivering clinical, cultural, and promotional digital content to intra-organizational stakeholders. The DPA will assist in reinforcing the Core Values of NORCAL Ambulance by contributing digital content.Overview:
The Digital Media & Production Assistant (DPA):
Assists the Digital Media Lead (DML)in delivering clinical, cultural, and promotional digital content to intra-organizational stakeholders. The DPA is intended to assist the DPM in creating all digital aspects that support the Culture and Communications mission to reinforce the Core Values of NORCAL Ambulance by contributing digital content.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Technical and Creative (85%)
Performs the following tasks in Adobe Creative Cloud Apps as necessary or within other editing systems as required:
- Simple color correction
- Assembly editing
- Simple animations (Basic compositing)
- Photo touch ups
- Basic audio processing
- Speech transcriptions and subtitling
- Basic media management
- Filming
- Photography
2. Communication and Collaboration (15%)
- Collaborates with Digital Media Lead as necessary to promote effective delivery of information and meet desired outcomes and goals.
- Solves problems and initiates collaboration; anticipates, identifies and actively resolves issues.
- Actively tracks and clearly communicates status and progress to the project team via dedicated project management software.
- Attends scheduled meetings via Microsoft Teams.
- Attends scheduled in person meetings including NORCAL All Staff Meetings.
- Ability to proofread for accuracy of all deliverable products.
- Be familiar with NORCAL policies and procedures.
- Continually protects the best interests of NORCAL.
Requirements
Knowledge
1. Pre-Hospital Clinical Knowledge desirable for collaborative digital projects
2. Knowledge and understanding of NORCAL Ambulance Policies and Procedures
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, and PowerPoint.
4. Ability to develop proficiency in software and hardware related to the delivery of digital
content
5. Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Apps required and managing these files from an organizational standpoint.
6. Basic knowledge of Videography Workflow, Post-Production Video Processing, and Digital Content Lifecycle
7. Familiarity with standard project management methodologies, workflows and tools.
- i.e. monday.com, Trello, Slack, Google Docs, Lucid Chart, etc.
