We are looking for a creative thinker and executer to work as our Design Assistant.

You've spent some time working in the fashion industry, know your way around photoshop, and now you're itching to move to a role in which you can really grow, learn, and apply your creative skillset. About This Role:

• Work directly with the Resonance Creative Directors on our growing portfolio of brands
• research current market trends in silhouette and construction.
• Ability to design and develop prints and color stories.
• Manage requests, emails, and slacks in the coordination of a collection within tight deadlines
• Strong sense of style, design, and aesthetics
• Knowledge about color theory and print design

Location: New York City (4 days in-person)

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years experience in the Fashion Industry.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator application for print and graphic design
• proficient in digital experiences, apps and software
• Basic technical design skills
• Intermediate-level garment construction knowledge
• Immense attention to detail
• No job too big, no job too small
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage deadlines
• Understanding capsules and collections and coordinating design needs.
• Ability to design in a wide variety of aesthetics, both digitally and by hand.
• Trend Forecasting and research skills
• Beginning photography and styling skills
• Accepting of constructive criticism and willingness to learn
• High level of professionalism and ability to work both in teams and independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
