Position: Caregiver - Per Diem (Days, Evenings, and Nights)

Pay Rate: Starting at $12.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
• Drive residents to appointments.
• Provide treatments, perform tests, carry out procedures, and collect specimens as instructed.
• Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens.
• Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
• Answer signal lights promptly.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and keep rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain safe and sanitary workstations and equipment.
• Encourage independence, attendance at activities, restorative programs, and rehabilitation.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
• Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Prior elderly care experience is preferred.
• Must be willing to drive residents to various appointments, work with pets, and provide other high-end concierge services as needed.
• Must have a current driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Ability to document care given.
