OVERVIEW

The Accountant, Camp Jellystone, carries out all assigned responsibilities in such a manner as to control costs and support all efforts to generate a consistent and growing profit and cash flow. They generate consistent revenue growth through delivering exceptional accounting support. Responsible for accounts receivable, franchise reporting and cash reconciliations for Camp Jellystone.

JOB DUTIES

• Assists Director of Finance (Jellystone Operations) with system revenue analysis and identify trends.
• Prepares daily/monthly bank reconciliations.
• Responsible for all accounts receivable processes.
• Reconciles period and year end reports from franchise locations.
• Responsible for operational reporting of franchise data.
• Analyzes franchise performance trends.
• Communicates effectively with franchisees.
• Creates excel reports for various ad hoc requests.
• Generates merchandise invoices based on shipments.
• Prepares special financial reports.
• Maintains and/or modifies procedures for organizing receivables.
• Resolves Sage100 related problems
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Associates Degree in Accounting (Preferred)
• 2 years accounting experience
• Ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality
• Ability to use Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proven analytical skills
