SAP RAR Consultant

SAP RAR Design and Implementation:

1. Lead the design and implementation of SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting solutions to meet business requirements.
2. Provides subject matter expert solutions and hands on management of configuration
3. Work with cross – functional teams to gather and analyze business processes and data, ensuring accurate revenue recognition.

 

Configuration and Customization:

1. Configure SAP RAR modules based on business needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing SAP systems.
2. Customize SAP RAR functionalities to address specific business scenarios and enhance overall system performance.

 

Reporting

1. Lead report development to comply with regulatory requirements
2. Interact with business and report development teams to cater to the business requirements 

 

Integration

1. Collaborate with SAP integration teams to ensure smooth integration of SAP RAR with other SAP modules and external systems.

 

Documentation

1. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation related to SAP RAR configurations, customizations and integrations.

 

Compliance and Best Practices

1. Thorough knowledge of ASC 606 requirements and ensure solution adhering to relevant accounting standards 

Post go – live support

1. Provide go live support to the existing implementation while actively participating in the current implementation. 

• Develop and implement technical specifications.
• Understand functional specifications.
• Develop and implement Program Objects.
• Support testing integration using S4 platform.
• Support other forms of testing.
• Support functional consultants in designing solutions for the gaps identified.
• Participate in the transformation of the Finance and Purchasing teams to a Product Driven Organization using Agile best practices.
• Assist with the functional integration of strategic initiatives across components of the SAP solution.
• Work hands-on with the development team to prioritize, plan, and deliver software that meets user requirements.

Professional Exposure &  Educational Qualification:

 

• Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, information technology or a technology related field
• 2 full implementations in RAR implementation
• In depth knowledge of SAP RAR modules and configurations
• Strong communication skills
• Familiarity with SAP FI/CO
• S4Hana experience and certifications preferred.
• Experience in full software development life cycle/ Operational framework/ AGILE process methodologies 
• Good experience in Application Production Support and Development activities
• Should have exposure on ITPM, IT Security controls, S-Ox processes 
• Should be able to work in European timings
• Knowledge of Finance and Accounting/ Invoicing business processes is preferred
