The Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior Systems Engineering Support Analysts to join the P-8A Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) Training Systems Integration team. The team is located in Richardson, TX. However, the position will be located at the Naval Air Station Jacksonville P-8A Integrated Training Center in Jacksonville, FL.  

This position will support the AAS Training Devices at the Naval Air Station Jacksonville P-8A Integrated Training Center. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.  The candidate must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities Include:

• Maintain P-8A AAS training devices operational for the fleet
• Collaborate with the customer and contractors in maintaining training device cyber compliance
• Troubleshoot and identify hardware and software issues with the AAS P-8A trainers
• Support software upgrades and hardware retrofits of AAS P-8A training devices
• Verify device functionality after software integration and cyber updates
• Provide training to the customer and contractors on the AAS P-8A training devices
• Travel to other sites with AAS P-8A trainers for device familiarization

The candidate must have a current DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+ or equivalent).  

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)
• 3 or more years of experience with Linux Operating Systems
• 3 or more years of experience on Windows/Windows Server OS administration
• 3 or more years of experience and competency in troubleshooting, analysis and problem- solving strategies
• Willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time domestically

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Familiarity with the AAS P-8A training devices
• 5 or more years of experience with Linux Operating Systems
• 5 or more years of experience and competency in troubleshooting, analysis and problem- solving strategies

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.)

Senior (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)

Summary pay range for mid-level:  $98,600 – 133,400

Summary pay range for senior level: $121,550 – 164,450
