Product Director

Vasion is looking for a Product Director that exemplifies our core values and wants to be part of our growing team. As the Product Director, you'll lead and empower dynamic product teams to create delightful customer outcomes. You'll set clear goals that guide and measure their work, directing their discovery toward top-priority opportunities. Guiding the teams' journey through discovery and delivery, you'll provide valuable coaching to make strategic decisions. Your role involves upholding commitments between teams and the business, crafting a focused roadmap with timelines and envisioned outcomes. Communication is your number one responsibility throughout the entire process.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Foster a user-centered product culture using modern techniques and practice
• Develop your team members through coaching and opportunities for growth
• Establish outcomes for each team to empower them to prioritize their work
• Synthesize team insights to identify new opportunities and shape the product strategy
• Utilize your understanding our customers to build a compelling long-term product vision
• Collaborate with leaders across the organization to focus teams and remove barriers
• Ensure product adoption and engagement by evangelizing with go-to-market teams
• Holistic management of product processes to create and monitor success
• Implement and maintain processes, systems, and tools to drive efficient teams
• Align to the company mission and advocate the product vision and strategy
• Partner with product analytics to measure outcomes and proxy metrics for your teams
• Accountable for making and communicating commitments

QUALIFICATIONS

• High level of empathy for customers to understand their pain points
• Critical thinker, able to recognize market opportunities and key levers
• Strategic leader with ability to direct development plans and measure product outcomes
• Ability to gather and evaluate relevant data to make difficult priority decisions
• Demonstrated success challenging team members to grow into their full potential
• Influential leader, able to synthesize insights from your team and persuade senior leaders and stakeholders of the direction of our products should go
• Deep experience leading teams in modern product management best practices
• Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing or engineering, or related field (MBA preferred) - strong product management experience an acceptable substitute
• 3+ years leading product teams to build world class Enterprise SaaS software
• Bias for action - you don’t wait for permission when you see a problem that needs to be solved, you take ownership and move forward
