We are seeking a Technical Architect who can drive the architectural vision and provide strong technical leadership across cloud and SaaS product teams. This role requires someone who brings a deep understanding of cloud-native application architecture and a working knowledge of AI/ML integration.

The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in Azure services and best practices, capable of translating complex business requirements into well-architected technical designs. This role involves technical leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on guidance to ensure successful cloud adoption, migration, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end cloud architectures for new and existing applications, focusing on compute, networking, storage, security, monitoring, and identity management within Azure
• Lead the architectural design of cloud-native applications, with a strong emphasis on scalability, performance, and high availability.
• Define and establish best practices, templates, and governance for application and infrastructure design.
• Evaluate current systems and recommend improvements in technology, architecture, and performance.
• Lead the development and implementation of Infrastructure as Code using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Bicep, or Terraform for automated, repeatable deployments
• Drive the integration of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines within Azure, promoting automation for deployment, testing, and monitoring.
• Define and maintain architectural direction across all product and platform teams, ensuring consistency and alignment.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to shape technical strategies for integrating AI and ML components into existing systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, DevOps, and data teams to plan and deliver scalable and intelligent applications.
• Mentor cross-functional teams on software architecture, cloud adoption, and emerging technologies.
• Drive adoption of modern patterns such as microservices, event-driven design, API-first development, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Support proof-of-concept initiatives to evaluate new technology for applicability within HHCS products.
• Resolve complex technical challenges and ensure architectural integrity throughout the SDLC.
• Design foundational system frameworks and develop Proofs of Concept (POCs) for new technologies, including AI/ML integration patterns.
• Contribute to strategic decisions on cloud migration, data architecture, and AI/ML readiness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software development, including 5+ years in architectural leadership role.
• Proven experience architecting and deploying scalable, multitenant SaaS solutions using Microsoft Azure (PaaS, App Services, Functions, Cosmos DB, etc.).
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions across core Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networking, Storage Accounts, Azure Active Directory/Entra ID, Azure SQL Database, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud-native principles.
