As global market leader for parking and driver assistance based in Bietigheim-Bissingen with Customer Offices in Garching and Braunschweig, our innovative mindset coupled with expertise in sensor fusion, environmental perception and artificial intelligence, enables to offer a unique technological portfolio for ranging, viewing sensors and computer vision as well as of scalable architectures for functions such as driver assistance, active safety and automated driving.

These challenges await you

• Drive/lead engineering discussions with deep technical understanding/knowledge (subject matter level/principal engineer level expertise) on one or more areas related to BSP, drivers, OS, RTOS, AUTOSAR, ADAS/AD middleware, ADAS/AD application stack, Camera subsystems, AI/ML/Neural network processing, Ethernet, Communication protocols, Functional Safety (ISO26262), Automotive SW development process, OpenCL, CUDA and V&V process.

• Define use cases, help with Software architecture, SDKs, BSP, ADAS/AD software/middleware and the total solution value proposition.

• Manages SW product management team based on organizational needs/goals.

• Work with customers and internal engineering teams on RFIs, RFQs, and Technical presentations

• Steer the development of customer projects to SOP and beyond. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, innovative environment, including experience in discussing complex ideas with partners, customers, and executives.

You inspire us with that:

• Experience working with multiple operating systems and/or software platforms with deep full stack understanding.

• Ability to have technical depth and to approach deep/complex technology challenges with the appropriate structural approach.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills and is articulate with both technical and business partners.  Ability to create effective frameworks to aid discussion of complicated topics. 

• 5+ years experience with leading SW/Systems architecture for L2/L3+ ADAS systems.
