Accounting Assistant (R2R)

Reporting into the Associate Manager Record to Report, the mission of the Accountant Assistant– Record to Report (R2R) is to ensure the accuracy, reliability and integrity of the company’s books and records and financial reports.  Europe Finance will be the preferred business partner to support Stryker’s mission, vision and promise in Stryker Europe. This will require Finance to focus on the basics of providing financial services and support, deliver value added finance service and support to Stryker Europe. It is Finance’s responsibility to assist the business in taking unnecessary costs out of its healthcare delivery system, achieve better economies of scale in the utilization of resources and leverage activities across functions and geographies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.  Finance will be a best in class function, comprised of ethical, talented and engaged people, with efficient processes and effective controls that support our functions and customers. 

What you will do

• Preparing basic balance sheet reconciliations in compliance with corporate policies

• Prepare and load journal entries (ERP)

• Responsible for the recurring journal entries in compliance with corporate policies

• Prepare certain SOX Controls

• Support with all other Month-end/ Quarter-end and Year-end related activities

What you need

Required:

• Minimum after second year of accounting related studies

• Excel skills

• Be able to use communication skills to effectively interact with all levels within the company

• Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive

• Team player

• Fluent spoken and written English

Preffered:

• Shared Service experience is preferred

Travel Percentage: 10%
