Responsibilities

The Manager of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) manages the daily activities of Advanced Practice Providers. Develops, submits, and administers capital, operations, and manpower budgets according to financial and organization guidelines. Works collaboratively with department leaders to ensure that safe, quality care is provided to the patients served. Is a registered professional nurse who has specialized skills, knowledge, and experience in patient assessments and follow-up and is duly authorized to perform designated acts of medical diagnosis, prescription of medical therapeutics and corrective measures in collaboration with and under the supervision of a licensed physician.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.     Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse licenses in the state.

2.     BLS certification upon hire and maintained current. 

3.     Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the specialty is preferred.

4.     Master’s in nursing required, Doctorate of Nursing preferred.

5.     Four or more years of clinical experience as a nursing practitioner at a physician practice or in a hospital with a related specialty is strongly preferred.

6.     One or more years of leadership experience, preferred.

7.     Eligible for Drug Enforcement Administration Registration.
