We are currently hiring an Operations Aide to help support our Westinghouse Parts and Quality Operations team in New Stanton, PA. This individual will perform various assignments and related on-site office administrative/technical duties within a highly technical engineering environment. Most duties will be related to quality, production control, and technical administrative tasks. This resource must prepare and process technical documents following standard work procedures; additional job duties for this position reflect the specific nature of the Quality Operations department. This is an anchor posiiton that is required to be on-site five days a week. 

 

Your Day to Day:

  • Prepare, review, format, and transmit technical documents. Includes creating cover sheets, gathering signatures, ensuring use of proper template, general document formatting and transmitting deliverables to internal customers.
  • Apply basic formulas and formats to prepare basic tables, graphs, figures, and metrics as assigned for day-to-day operations.
  • Assist Quality Manager and Project Managers with on-site secure document control management for projects and programs.
  • Support internal and external customer meetings by coordinating site visit requests, welcoming and escorting visitors as required, and providing site safety information to visitors via brochure or safety video.
  • Support coordination of system access requests, safety reviews, and other on-site requirements for new hires or other personnel as required.
  • Assist in the generation of reports and distribution of information, results, and basic analyses to appropriate personnel.
  • Enter service requests for procurement, training updates, or other requests and manage orders until receipt and distribution to applicable group.
  • Provide some general administrative support to on-site Operations team including scanning documents and making printouts.
  • Monitor schedules and follow-up with responsible personnel to ensure documents are generated on time.
  • Compile, prepare and input data into various systems.
  • Maintain working knowledge of quality, safety, and security procedures.

 

Who You Are:

  • High school graduate or the equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years administrative experience.
    • Associate’s degree in business or technical discipline or equivalent preferred.
    • Nuclear industry experience preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • SAP or ERP system experience required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to consistently apply high levels of attention to detail.
