General Cardiology Hospitalist

Description

We are actively seeking a full-time, general cardiology hospitalist to join our growing team in Patchogue. This position is based in a vibrant community hospital, part of the NYU Langone Health system, located in the heart of Suffolk County. Our hospital offers exceptional, comprehensive care, including a trauma center and a range of advanced support services.

NYU Langone Health Faculty Group Practice (FGP) is a group of more than 3,500 physicians in more than 300 sites owned and operated as part of NYU Langone Health and the NYU School of Medicine. Our rapidly growing portfolio of satellite sites are bringing our expert care to locations throughout the New York boroughs, Long Island, and Florida. In addition to our growing network of ambulatory facilities, our patients can access a wide range of highly specialized medical and surgical care at our hospital campuses.

When you join us, a designated team will work with you to build and maintain relationships, promoting access to the world-class care and research available at NYU Langone Health.

Compensation: $300,000-$425,000

The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a licensed, board-eligible or board-certified internal medicine and cardiology physician with outstanding clinical skills and a strong interest in providing high-quality, hospital-based cardiology care. Responsibilities include managing the inpatient consult service in collaboration with hospital-based clinical teams and referring physicians. We value strong diagnostic, assessment, and treatment skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
