What you’ll do at Elekta
At Elekta, we don’t just build technology. We build hope for everyone dealing with cancer. In the role as Software Development Engineer, you will design and develop cutting-edge cloud-native solutions. You will contribute to shaping the future of our software applications, and ensure they are robust, scalable, and aligned with our strategic goals. This role requires an understanding of cloud applications and software development.
Responsibilities
- Develop rock-solid cloud applications for cloud-native solutions.
- Contribute to design decisions and discussions with project teams.
- Implement software applications including design, testing and documentation.
- Translate user requirements to software requirements.
- Ensure software quality standards are met through documentation, risk analysis, and testing.
- Participate in activities for improving engineering practices, tools, infrastructure, and other quality system processes and deliverables.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Skills in RESTful service development, event-driven design, implementation, and infrastructure services/tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and cloud tools such as Kubernetes.
- Experience in healthcare, medical technology, or other regulated industry.
- Understanding of agile/scrum methodology.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
